Blue Majority, Eastbourne Deckchairs   arranged   at   the   promenade   bandstand at   Eastbourne,   this   is   an   old   film   negative   that   was scanned   and   of   course   having   done   that   that   it   was just begging for one deckchair to be turned red…
A Grand Day Out I   have   a   thing   for   fairground   amusements,   I   found these   characters   on   the   seafront   at   Eastbourne   at the   end   of   the   summer   season,   they   looked   like they   were   setting   off   on   their   holidays.   Taken   with   a fisheye   lens   there   has   been   a   bit   of   meddling   with HDR to bring out the colours as well.
Rush Hour Taken   on   a   Friday   evening   at   Waterloo   station,   the patterns   of   people   rushing   for   trains   is   fascinating, this   is   a   straight   image   taken   with   a   slow   shutter speed (obviously)
The Old Causeway The    Grain   Tower    is    an    old    fortification    off    the coast   of   the   Isle   of   Grain,   at   low   tide   it   can   be reached    by    what    is    left    of    an    old    causeway. Image   taken   from   a   low   viewpoint   with   obvious HDR effects.
When I Rule the World I   was   wandering   round   the   space   section   of   the Science   Museum   in   London   when   I   saw   this   little chap    gazing    at    the    giant    illuminated    globe… unmodified image.
Cook’s Table Taken   for   a   set   subject   project,   simple   table   top still   life,   the   items   were   carefully   selected   at   the local    supermarket    where    the    fishmonger    was sceptical   at   being   asked   for   his   most   photogenic sardines.   It   has   to   be   said   that   the   menu   for   the days following this was rather good…
Doll Face This   image   provokes   unease   in   most   people   I have   shown   it   to,   my   mother   acquired   an   old   doll at   a   charity   shop   and   I   idly   wondered   what   would happen   if   the   head   were   transposed   into   real   life - make your own judgement. NB   -   I   had   always   considered   the   doll   to   be   quite ghastly    but    my    Mother    still    maintains    it    was pretty.
Full Tilt Living   reasonably   close   to   Epsom   provides   easy access   to   the   quieter   race   meetings,   capturing images   like   this   is   a   labour   of   love   as   races   are   at 30-40   minute   intervals   with   about   a   15   second window of photographic opportunity in each race.
Chrome Wave Door   handle   of   a   Citroen   2CV   at   a   classic   car show
NFL Fans London Taken    in    Regent    Street    London    at    an    event celebrating   NFL   matches   being   played   in   London that     weekend,     this     group     were     completely absorbed    in    selfie    taking    and    oblivious    to    my presence.
New Year’s day London A   ‘huge’   parade   had   been   arranged   in   London   to celebrate   New   Year’s   day   (I   forget   which   year) unfortunately   the   weather   had   other   ideas,   this   is Trafalgar   Square   where   big   screens   relayed   the excitement   to   a   crowd   sometimes   reaching   tens, one    had    to    feel    sorry    for    the    troupes    of    high school   cheerleaders   who   had   travelled   from   the USA to stand soaked in January rain.
Under a Blood Red Sky Grainy   Tri-X   film   negative   of   a   single   F16   at   the old   Mildenhall   airshow,   scanned   then   fiddled   with in Photoshop to give it some friends.
Rally Stage Taken   at   Goodwood   festival   of   Speed   rally   stage, anyone    with    interests    in    photography    and    any form   of   motorsport   should   go   to   the   FOS   it   is   a marvellous motoring jamboree.
